About

FAA Part 107 Pilot Training ♦ STEM Education Advocacy

Nevada Business Aviation Association (NVBAA) was founded with the mission to connect the State of Nevada’s Aviation and Aerospace stakeholders from the North to South, in order to advocate for economic development, STEM Education, and infrastructure improvement of Nevada’s airports.

Nevada Business Aviation Association’s (NVBAA) Mission is to provide equal access to STEM Education in the fields of Aviation, Aerospace, and UAS (drones) for Nevada’s underrepresented K-12 youth, through afterschool, and year-round internship programs. NVBAA also works diligently on sustainable initiatives for building a technically trained workforce for good paying jobs in the aviation industry, improving airport infrastructure for  rural airports and creating the incentives to attract, keep, and expand the aviation industry in Nevada.

With the dire circumstances caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic in Nevada, our FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot training program is ever more critical as a way to provide an opportunity to supplement their living expenses for Nevadans who may have lost their jobs, or have had their incomes reduced.

We are offering this program at no charge to military veterans, public safety officers, high school educators and high school students across the United States.

Our Nationally-recognized, Award-winning STEM Education programs and events have garnered the attention of other states.

It is our highest priority to provide opportunities in Nevada, and provide the necessary education, training and tools, to promote careers in aviation, aerospace, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

We look forward to forging new industry partnerships, and exploring new relationships that enhance our ability to reach all Nevadans, especially disadvantaged youth.
